Diversify your fish farming
You can add 20 trout (10 per fish tank) when temperatures approach 15°C, that is, in October (depending on the year and geographic location).
The trout are stocked at a weight between 100 and 150 g. They are caught when they weigh between 250 g and 300g, that is, in spring, from March to early April.
Trout can coexist with goldfish or other fish, if the latter are not smaller than the trout.
The feed used by Myfood is suitable for trout.
For acclimation, follow the same procedure as for the other fish. Then feed them gradually after their arrival.
Prefer several meals per day in small quantities.
Oxygenation and temperaturesMake sure that your air pump / aerator is working properly and that the temperature does not repeatedly exceed 15°C. This criterion is important and determines the amount of oxygen present in the fish tanks, and therefore the survival of your fish.
