Wind resistance

  • Usually withstands up to 100 km/h
  • In the event of frequent strong winds, adaptations are essential (reinforced anchors, adapting the direction of the greenhouse, installing windbreak obstacles, etc.)

Snow and hail resistance

  • Withstands between 50 and 75kg/m². It is strongly recommended to clear snow from the greenhouse roof
  • Usually withstands heavy rain and moderate-sized hailstones (diameter between 5 and 20 millimetres)

4. Prior declaration

For France, a works declaration is required. Article R421-9: prior declaration required for greenhouses between 1,80m and 4m in height and with an area of less than 2000m². (this is our case, see point g)). Please note that municipality-specific regulations (by decree) may exist: check the local PLU, you can download your PLU regulations here: (https://www.geoportail-urbanisme.gouv.fr/)

For France, Myfood supports you throughout the project to review compliance with planning regulations and to handle the prior declaration formalities as soon as the quote is signed (service price 169€ incl. VAT).
Handling the PD by Myfood is strongly recommended to guarantee the success of the process and avoid back-and-forth with the administration.

It is necessary to attach article R421-9 to the application file to speed up the process.
