Stove installed between January 2020 and December 2022

II. 1. Programming temperature

Use the pellet stove during the cold season to keep plants frost-free. The goal is not, however, to have the same temperature in the greenhouse as in summer.

Adjust the temperature

  • Press the + - buttons.
  • Scroll with the arrows to T° amb. Press Menu then + - until the desired temperature. Press Menu to confirm the setting.
  • To return to the initial page, press off.

  • Scroll with the arrows to Flamme. Press Menu then + - until the desired flame power. Press Menu to confirm the setting.
  • To return to the initial page, press off.
For good combustion, set the flame power to 4.

Enable/disable Auto-Eco mode

  • Press the Menu button.
  • Move with the right arrow until "Sélection".
  • Confirm by clicking the Menu button.
  • Move again with the arrow until "Auto-Eco".
  • Disable by clicking -. The Auto-Eco mode is then "Off".

To return to the initial page, press off.

When the stove reaches the set temperature, the appliance switches off automatically. It switches back on when the temperature drops again to 2° below the setpoint. In the 'Sélection' menu, make sure that the "Auto-Eco" mode (or "Stand By" for the old stove model) is ON to benefit from AUTO start/stop mode.

Set up the programming

Recommended programming

The programming has been tested for temperatures down to -10°C. It provides pellet autonomy of about 3 to 4 days.

This programming provides heat early in the day. Then, the increase in outdoor temperatures during the day and the presence of sun will take over. The rapid temperature increase helps reduce humidity in the greenhouse and therefore fungal diseases. Condensation also decreases more quickly and the greenhouse effect will be strengthened earlier in the day.

For this programming, disable Auto Eco mode to avoid overconsumption of pellets.

Program 1Monday to Sunday7h30 - 9h3030°C
Program 2Monday to Sunday16h-18h30°C
Program 3Monday to Sunday1h-3h30°C

II. 2. Pellet supply

Your stove will trigger an alarm when its pellet hopper is empty. Simply fill the stove and press and hold the start button to clear the error message and restart the appliance. Expect 2 to 3 bags of pellets per week depending on your geographical location.

When the pellet feed auger is empty, it is recommended to manually place a handful of pellets in the burner at the first start-up, while the auger fills up again.

II. 3. Maintaining the combustion chamber

It is recommended to clean the stove once every two weeks.

  • Empty the ashes by removing the ash drawer or vacuuming them with an ash vacuum.
❗️

Warning

Do not use a household vacuum cleaner to vacuum ashes. If an ember is still lit, it could catch fire.

  • Remove the burner and vacuum the debris until the air holes are completely clear
  • Put the burner back in place
  • Clean the glass with a damp cloth
  • Restart the stove

Once a year, it is recommended to call in a professional to service your stove and sweep the chimney flue.

II. 4. Summer maintenance of the stove

At the end of winter, make sure not to leave pellets in the stove hopper to prevent them from absorbing moisture and clogging the ducts.

You can also leave the stove door slightly ajar to prevent moisture from settling inside.

👍

Tip

Ash is very good for your vegetable garden! Feel free to use it in your crops.

II. 5. Chimney management

The smoke evacuation duct coming from the stove is very important. It is therefore necessary to check that it is clean and working properly.

If soot builds up for a long time, it eventually clogs the duct starting from the elbow coming out of the stove. This results in very heavy smoke, yellowish in colour and with a pungent smell.

In this case, dismantle the chimney and thoroughly clean the inside using a special brush and water. It is useful to let the chimney parts drain well to prevent moisture from getting back into the stove.

II. 6. Cleaning the smoke chamber

Every 4 to 8 weeks

  • Behind the rear plate of the stove, remove the nuts
  • Vacuum the ashes
  • Put the plate and nuts back

II. 7. Cleaning the smoke duct

Every month

  • Remove the cap from the smoke duct
  • Empty the contents of the cap
  • Vacuum the ashes inside the T-piece
  • Put it back in the system

📘

The following operations must be carried out once a year by a technician

  • Cleaning the smoke extractor
  • Cleaning the room fan
  • Sweeping the soot accumulated in the smoke duct and chimney
  • Replacing damaged seals

III. USER MANUAL AND PROGRAMMING OF THE NATALIA STOVE

Stove installed since January 2023

Characteristics:
Tank capacity: 13 kg
Thermal power: maximum 8 kWh
Reduced power: 2,4 kWh
Fuel: good quality wood pellets.

Manufacturer manual: MYFOOD-NOTICE-POELE-NATALIA.pdf

Loading pellets
Put the wood pellets into the hopper slowly.
Do not put any around the door, otherwise it may jam.
If the door remains open for more than 45 s while the stove is operating, it goes into error mode.
After filling the hopper, make sure the door is properly engaged so that the hopper is hermetically sealed, otherwise the stove will not start operating.

Pellets must be stored in a dry place (and not in the greenhouse) to prevent them from absorbing moisture. If the pellet is damp, the stove may not start properly and may generate an error.

Before the 1st ignition, the operation can be repeated 3 times to successfully light the stove.

To save pellets, at the start of the winter season, only one time slot can be activated (F01 to F04).

The idea is to keep the greenhouse frost-free rather than maintaining a high temperature at all times.

III. 4. Manual or automatic mode

By pressing AUTO, you choose whether the stove operates in automatic or manual mode.
When the stove operates in automatic mode, it follows the saved programming. In Manual mode, the stove only starts operating when you start it manually.

III. 5. Maintenance

With the weekly programming indicated, the combustion chamber and the burner must be cleaned every 2-3 days with an ash vacuum and when the stove has cooled down.

1040

A : Burn pot
B : Ash drawer

  1. Vacuum the burn pot and ash drawer with the ash vacuum
  1. and 3. Once most of the ash has been removed, take out these two components and vacuum the combustion chamber again.
  1. Put the components back in the combustion chamber.

Every 6 months, vacuum the pellet loading auger to ensure proper pellet intake.
